The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) International Arbitration Center Exchange & Cooperation Platform was established in April 2020, located in the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone (HTCZ).

By gathering arbitration, mediation and other legal resources from Guangdong province, the Hong Kong SAR and the Macao SAR, it fully leverages the unique advantages of international arbitration in "cross-border jurisdiction and enforcement", supporting the realization of "rule connection and mechanism docking" in the HTCZ under the background of "one country, two systems, and three jurisdictions".

At the same time, relying on the platform, the China (Shenzhen) Intellectual Property Arbitration Center was launched to provide diversified intellectual property dispute resolution services for more than 140 internationally renowned research institutions, cutting-edge tech firms, and over 100 high-end talents settled in the HTCZ.

This helps companies enhance their risk resistance in intellectual property, improve the institutional mechanisms for intellectual property protection, deepen exchanges and cooperation in the field of intellectual property in the GBA, and build the cooperative region into a globally influential innovation base and demonstration platform for intellectual property dispute resolution.

With the mindset of openness and inclusiveness, the platform provides space for qualified legal professionals from Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR to conduct arbitration, mediation, consultation and other legal services in the GBA by the law.

It also facilitates exchanges and cooperation among arbitration and mediation institutions in the GBA and provides domestic and foreign parties with international, high-quality, and efficient "one-stop" commercial dispute resolution services. The platform is equipped with multifunctional halls, hearing rooms, conference rooms, offices, workspaces, and lounges, supporting legal professionals from the GBA to conduct arbitration, mediation, dispute resolution, discussions, seminars, training and exchanges.
